Artisan Specialties specializes in home improvement; home repair, remodel old homes, fire damage, water damage, termite damage, custom cabinets, entertainment centers, winder stairways. But we are not limited to that either. We do additions, paint old and new homes. Preform roof repair, and replace rotten wood on homes.
I believe that if a contractor works on your home, the contractor needs to be able to do the work themselves. This way they will know if the job is being done RIGHT! With everything I bid on, I have the ability of doing the job myself. I do not like to have more than one or two jobs going at any given time. Doing that gives me extra control over the jobs, ensuring customer satisfaction! What is the bottom line with my company? That’s easy, do the very best you can. Cost of the job ....... and a minim of 20% on top of that for profit and overhead. ALL WORK comes with a written warrantee
I personally have 30 years of combined experience with conventional and log homes. It seems that 99% of our business is by referral. But to be honest with you, what I and my team love to do the most is build cabinets and install the interior trim. I feel like this. When you walk into a house what do you look at first? The style of the staircase. The design of the cabinets. How the crown mold looks. One piece crown? Two, three ..... fives piece crown? How do the walls meet the ceilings. Depends on how high the walls are as to what you need to put up for crown. Then there is the cost factor too. Paint grade wood is considerably less than the cost of stain grade wood. I have not met a person yet who did not take into consideration how much the material and labor would be on their home!!
With every cabinet we have built, every piece of trim we have installed, there is a piece of myself I have put into its design. I love what I do with a passion, and with that passion comes the desire of doing the very best!
